Resorts

There are 4 resorts in Lithuania: two of them are located at the seaside, the other two–in the southern part of Lithuania. The seaside resorts are very different: Palanga is considered to be the lively capital of summer; whereas Neringa is regarded as the area of unique nature and quietness.

Both of the resorts situated on the inland, Druskininkai and Birštonas, are of the curative purpose where mineral water and curative mud are applied for rehabilitative treatment as well as relaxation. Located on the banks of the river Nemunas, these two resorts compete with one another by the beauty of the surrounding nature and the supply of entertainments.
